Yes, we definitely believe your owner would claim you. Course, she has your legally. Someone might have worried over the lost one, but not dared to claim it.
I would die of excitement if I found a capybara in the yard! I’m glad a home was found for her.
I’m sure she would want to claim you. You do have a micro chip ID, right? There are lots of crazy people out there. So, best to just stay near your mom.
