yes, you should be envious. Caplin is unbelievable, I was so happy that I can not describe it: just a pure happiness.
But he is very self-restricted, he would not allow you to pet him for a long time.

Caplin, I looked at the calendar, it is as beautiful as always. I laughed at some pitures, so cute you are I’m ordering now.

But Alex, if you are who I think you are (Rezoner – or as Caplin says: The Russian Stalker), then you have one major advantage over me: You have physically touched Caplin…
That makes me very, very envious – believe me. I’ve never touched a capy yet – but then again, I might not be able to stop cuddling him if I ever got started…

I’d happily pay for it (and for the shipping costs, of course)
(maybe you could let him touch it, so I’d have a de-facto Caplin autograph…

p.s. This may be my first post, but I am a long-time fan, one of the “silent majority” types that has been there from the very beginning of Caplin’s virtual life.
I’ve read every blog entry, watched every Youtube clip (many of them numerous times – I check at least once a week for new entries), read the book, followed the numerous links…
Except of Twitter and Facebook, I’ve connected with Caplin in every way possible – and that includes constantly forwarding videos, giving the book to friends as a birthday present and generally planting the seed for increased love for the capybara throughout humanity…
Call me capy-obsessed if you will =
(I have several of the too few books on capys, several of the too few plush versions, hundreds of capy pictures and videos on my PC, regularly visit the local zoo and other capy homepages, keep annoying friends and family with my excessive love for capys, and have even written a few capy stories of my own)
