Hi Caplin! Don’t you worry, guinea pigs can definitely swim! All 3 of mine have been able to at least. My piggie Muffin really loved it too! Here is a picture of my little girl piggie Gráinne swimming in the pool with me: http://sarianna.org/public/img/fuzziness/piggie%20swim%20date%202005.jpg She didn’t enjoy swimming as much, but on really hot days she tolerated it well. She liked to swim alllll the way across the pool, jump up the stairs, and lie down in the grass by the water too! Very very funny. Hope everyone is adjusting okay to the new housemates!

I always dreamed of travelling with piggens, but they hate the car! I think they get carsick like cats do. My parrot loves the car, though. You should get a parrot, Caplin. It could ride on your back, you always wanted a rider bird!

All your new room mates are too cute! Seeing Maple makes me miss my bunny’s very much but for reasons beyond my control I had to find them a new home. But I still have my guinea pig! Mr. Tilt. (head tilts because of wry neck when he was a baby). You are so handsome, Caplin! Love to watch your home movies! **kisses on the nose**

I am not sure how long they will be with us. I plan on forever because I think they won’t want to go back to live with Coral and Carl, who are now vagabonds.
