Just read an interesting blog post about a person who got to meet a “wild” capybara in Venezuela. Here is the link. There are some excellent photos and a cute video. The capy is just a baby, I’d say 2 – 3 months old and maybe 20 lbs. Y’all should go check it out.
Thank you for sharing the link to Danib’s post about her unexpected encounter with a baby capybara in Venezuela. I really enjoy her blog! Her photographs of the giant escalator in Medellin, Columbia are fantastic too. As a long-distance sloth advocate for the Fundacion AIUNAU sanctuary there, I have a particular interest in the city and was fascinated to learn about this gargantuan means of transportation last December. It was a lovely surprise to read a travel blog featuring photos of the new Medellin escalator AND a friendly baby capy!
