My Superpower (is rolling)

In the pond, right side up

If you’ll recall, Melly spent a lot of time last winter fixing up my pond. At first I thought she was ruining it by taking out all of the irises that I used to hide in. But then she put in a new liner so the pond actually holds water. I still can’t decide if I like the new pond better than the old one, or if I like the old one better than the new. But whatever, all I have is the new one and it’s greatest attribute is that it is perfect for rolling.

Completing a roll

One good thing about the pond verses my pool, is that Melly doesn’t keep the pond clean. It always has nice green water in it that makes rolling and swimming underwater even more fun.

Wave to the camera!

Those are my front paws. You can hardly even see the rest of me under the water.

Wave to the camera again!

These are my back paws. I’m not really waving to the camera. The camera is just always there.

The view from above

Those are my front paws again. I’m a little embarrassed about how pink and furrless my belly is.

All four paws

You can see my little white teeth through the murky water.

Me rolling

If you watch the video you can see why my superpower is rolling. I don’t like to brag, but I’m pretty good at it and getting better every day.

Time to get out

Time to get out but Melly was standing in my way. I didn’t actually push her over, but I could have.

Don’t be embarrassed by your belly; it’s adorable!

  • You could bite that liner, you know! If you bite it at the bottom it would take a little while for Melly to figure out why the water went away, giving you plenty of time to talk up the biting ability of snapping turtles. That would put the blame on Nessie, ha ha ha!

LUV beastie bellies! Yours is good — do you allow it to be petted?

Guinea pig bellies are good too — but piggies don’t usually allow bellies to be petted. I think they are ticklish ๐Ÿ™‚ How about your WBB1 — does he let his belly be petted?

Great blog (as always) — loved the rolling. Your (dirty) pond is good in its natural state!

Got to admit Melly did a great job with the pond. You were kind of hard on her when she started pulling out all those plants. She made you a really nice pond, and you really get to show your super power ๐Ÿ™‚

Haven’t seen the video yet but you are super looking in the pictures. Love you tiny toes front and back. You are so athletic. Twisting and turning in the pond. You would not want to see me try that – that would be a big MESS. Happy swimming!!

The pond is nicely built, very natural. Nowadays you seems to use the pool more. Anyway, enjoy all the facilities.

I keep coming back to visit this one… and hearing that song, “You see me rollin’/they hatin’/Patrollin’ tryin’ to catch me ridin’ dirty”…. with a vision of Gari rocking along to the song… ๐Ÿ™‚ (I mostly know it from a commercial ๐Ÿ™‚
