Continue reading “Conference Capybara Part 2” »  Check out Mia! This month I attended the 2014 BlogPaws Conference held at the Westin Hotel in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a bittersweet time because I really missed Garibaldi Rous. I was hoping to have him attend the conference with me this year but things did not go well for either of us. Luckily, I had little Mia Davisson, Gari’s six-month-old niece and the daughter of Wesley and Fiona from the Snake Farm Zoo, as a stand in and she did a stand up job! She even accepted this $2,000 donation to the ROUS Foundation from the BlogPaws organization. Remember that Wesley & Fiona live at the Wild Animal & Snake Farm Zoo so there are a lot of other animals there. The two white lion cubs get a whole lot of the attention that rightfully belongs to the capybaras, but what can you do when they insist on being so cute?
