Like all babies, Caplin Rous got in his share of trouble. From climbing on counters, to biting holes in hoses, he was all capybara. That’s one of the great things about Caplin Day, remembering how cute capybaras are, but also what troublemakers they are. You’ve got to have a lot of patience to live with a capybara.

It’s funny how a baby capybara looks just like an adult capybara only smaller. But you can see in the above video that he does change over time. Still, without some frame of reference to determine his size, it would be hard to tell if he was a baby or an adult.

Cute as he was, Garibaldi was no angel either. There were many times when I’d look away only to hear a crash behind me.
Even though they are gone, they still bring me many fond, funny memories. That’s what Caplin Day is all about, remembering. And don’t forget popsicles! It’s also about popsicles.
