Apparently MelT has stopped taking photos of me so I have to post old photos instead. I am just as cute as I have always been so I don’t know what her problem is. She says its too dark and cold, but she still makes me go outside.
One of my very first friends when I was a baby was Winston Bumblebee Barcode the 1st, or WBB1 as his friends called him. He was a guinea pig, a close relative to us capybaras only a little smaller. I miss WBB1 but MelT says no one lives forever and that it’s more important to be happy while you are alive rather than thinking about dying all the time. As it turns out, I don’t think about dying ever. But I still miss WBB1.
Ion is my newest co-pet, but he’s been around for a while. He came to live with us in October, 2017. Before that he lived at someplace called “the pound.” I’m not sure what that is, but it sounds heavy. We don’t know Ion’s birthday so he never gets any presents.
Come to think of it, Driftwood doesn’t get any birthday presents either, and we know his birthday. Okay, I don’t remember it right now, but I could find out if I wanted to. MelT says he is four months older than I am so that makes him four and a half. I’m going to have to take her word on the math.
Hey! Mamba doesn’t get any presents either! Neither do the tortoises! Or the snapping turtle! Or the chickens! Or the horses! Or the snake! (Wow, I have a lot of co-pets!)
I’m the only one who ever gets presents and they’re not even for me. Mostly not for me. The only presents I get are for the ROUS Foundation. That helps all capybaras, so I suppose it helps me too. But I hope I don’t need any help since they only help you if you are sick.I was sick last summer and I never want to do that again!
I’m too excited to write any more. It is only six little days! Six short days!
You’re such an adorable and spoiled capybara!
