Owner’s blog: Entry #1: Sue Rost Hi all! I am in need of a logo for the ROUS Foundation for Capybara Veterinary Medicine. As some of you may know, the Foundation was started after Caplin Rous died unexpectedly on January 4th, 2011, a day that will burn forever in my heart.  Eying the Eye I hope everyone knows about the adorable puzzles we are selling for the ROUS Foundation for Capybara Veterinary Medicine.  Beulla Belle This is a very hard post for me to write. A beautiful young capybara named Buella Belle died this week. The photo of her above was taken on the day she died. You can see how gorgeous she was and how healthy she looked. And you might even notice the resemblance to Garibaldi Rous, especially around the large ears. Ever since I got Garibaldi Rous I have been worried about him. We really don’t know what happened to Caplin Rous and so little is known about capybaras that I now feel like everything I do is potentially deadly. This is one reason I am establishing the ROUS Foundation in conjunction with the vet school at Texas A&M University. It is also the reason I felt it was important to get Gari in for a well-capybara checkup as soon as possible.  Sample Puzzle As a fundraiser for the ROUS Foundation for Capybara Veterinary Care, we have decided to market some capybara photo puzzles. The image above shows an example of a solved 108 piece puzzle along with its box and the box for a 672 piece puzzle. |
