Continue reading “At Home with Romeo & Tuff’n” »  Check out Mia! This month I attended the 2014 BlogPaws Conference held at the Westin Hotel in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a bittersweet time because I really missed Garibaldi Rous. I was hoping to have him attend the conference with me this year but things did not go well for either of us. Luckily, I had little Mia Davisson, Gari’s six-month-old niece and the daughter of Wesley and Fiona from the Snake Farm Zoo, as a stand in and she did a stand up job! You might recall that I was in Washington D.C. for the Blog Paws conference. The timing couldn’t have been better. I got there the day after they had their largest earthquake in 100 years and I left on the day Hurricane Irene barreled through. Surprisingly, the conference was still a big success. Owner’s blog:
 At the Austin Airport I never thought I would say this, but I just got back from a conference to which I took two plush animals. And I didn’t even feel like a fool. You can see Capycoppy and Super Gari perched on a sign at the Austin airport. If posing plush animals in public places doesn’t make you self-conscious, nothing will. |
