 The Capybara in Winter As you can see from the above photo, Melly is feeling well. She is up to some of her old antics, such as forcing me to wear a Texas A&M scarf. Fact is, I am not a fan of Texas A&M since that is where I go to the vet. Knowing that, you can see that I am not quite 100% or I would have bitten her. I don’t think a three-toothed bite will have quite the same effect either, which makes me sad.  Me and Lisa chillaxin in the pool I had a terrible weekend last weekend because of how sore I was after my latest dental procedure so I wasn’t sure if I was looking forward to this weekend or not. I had a lot of Capybara Ambassador duties to see to and I was thinking I would rather just sit in the pool by myself all day and sleep. Sleeping is the capybara equivalent of reading (or watching TV for those of you who don’t read).
 She has a name My new rabbit has a name! Thanks to all my fans for their help. The winning name is Dustabelle McLinty Poofball the 1st, suggested Jackie Hammond. That’s a pretty cute name but Winston Bumblebee Barcode the 1st said that there can be only one 1st and it is him. So we’ve decided to go with just Dustabelle. That’s a really cute name and it fits her really well. Plus it reminds us of little Rousabelle Capybara who is lost in the wilds of West Virginia and we are missing her and holding out hope for a safe return.
 Gari & Dobby This post introduces what I hope will be a continuing feature, the Capy Diablog. The Diablog features a conversation (or dialog) between two capybaras, Garibaldi Rous and Dobby Winnick. Most of you probably already know Dobby from his blog, Dobby the Capybara. Dobby is actually Caplin Rous’ full younger brother, but he has become like a big brother to Garibaldi.
