Me in Pond 2

Mudskipper’s Post:

Ever since I got my new pool, I have been ignoring my pond. At least on this blog. In real life, I still love my pond, which is now Pond 2. You can see me “swimming” in it in the photo above. Since I swim in my pool now, Pond 2 has been configured more with Nessie in mind.

Skipper and Water

Melanie’s post:

Capybara family in Venezuela

Mudskipper has had a strange relationship with water, especially considering that she is a semi-aquatic rodent with a semi-aquatic name. Garibaldi in my old pond

But that is what she’d like you to imagine so I guess I’ll go along with it. For now.

The Evolution of My Pond

Caplin Rous, a capybara, stands beside a pond

Caplin entering the pond

My pond is one of the most important things in my life. But it didn’t start out being mine. First it was Caplin’s pond, and then Garibaldi’s, and now, finally, I have inherited it. Am I taking good care of this historic treasure? You be the judge. Continue reading “The Evolution of My Pond” »
