Hi again! Mudskipper here. Hope you havent been waiting too long for my blog post. This will be worth it though. I’m very cute in this one.

For such a little capybara I know a lot of tricks. They are all tricks to get MelT to give me a treat. She’s a pushover for such things.

Melly gets some weird ideas, I think there is something wrong with her brain. She’s not exactly crazy, but she’s not exactly not crazy, if you know what I mean. The Stool and The Capybara

 

Something wicked this way comes

Today I was sitting out on the front porch, minding my own business, chomping on a piece of corn, when Melly came out of the house carrying that thing that you see in the photo above. It’s cute enough, but what’s it doing on the porch? When Melly brought it home for the first time yesterday, it was seated quite placidly in the living room. Doesn’t really look like porch furniture, does it?

Opening Doors

The door to my Rick's room

I hate doors. Not just specific doors, although there are specific doors that I hate. For instance, I hate the door to my Rick’s room. That is a door I especially hate. But I hate the whole idea of doors. The bad thing about doors is that they can close. And when doors close, that is to keep me from going someplace that I want to go. For instance, in the above photo, I want to go into my Rick’s room. I’m not sure he is in there but if he is, I want to be in there too! And that door keeps me from even knowing!

Garibaldi has his own take on Caplin’s tap-a-tap a trick. Maybe later we’ll be able to get him to touch with the paw but the trick is pretty cute as it is. Kind of reminds me of a dressage horse.
