Yo! It’s me again, Mudskipper Rous. I haven’t written in awhile so we have some things to catch up on. Let’s get the big one out of the way right off the bat.

 A rainy day It rained a little yesterday so Melly wouldn’t take me for a walk. I don’t get that. It seems like that is the perfect time for a walk. What could be better than the comforting caress of water rolling off your fur while you explore strange and potentially dangerous places? Nevertheless, she wouldn’t do it so I had to make my own fun.
 Finally! A pond. I hope you have been following the drama surrounding my pond rejuvenation (if not, please read them in this order: What Happened to My Pond?, A Busy Day, Pond Dreams). Well, the project is just about done and it is about time!

Probably most you know that I have a tortoise co-pet named Leopolda (Leah for short). Melly tells me Caplin clicked at her, bit at her shell and tried to chase her around the yard, except that she didn’t care. I guess I’m just more easy going than Caplin was because I don’t feel any need to chase Leah. There’s grass enough for everybody, that’s my motto. |
