Thanksgiving 2017

Capybara Turkey

Skipper’s Post:

Yesterday was what MelT calls a “holiday.” The name of the holiday was Thanksgiving. It’s supposed to be a day when everyone thinks about how great their life is. Everyone except for turkeys that is. They aren’t thinking about how great their lives are because their lives weren’t that great and they are dead. Dead pretty much trumps everything. I’m thankful I’m not a turkey. I’m thankful I’m not dead.

My chickens

I’m also thankful my chickens aren’t turkeys.

Driftwood

I’m thankful Driftwood isn’t a turkey…and the other cats too, although I’m still suspicious of Ion.

My horses

I’m thankful my horses, Phoenix and Chesapeake, aren’t turkeys, even though we don’t interact much and I am scared of them.

Thanksgiving meal

I am thankful that MelT and Coral had a nice Thanksgiving mel that didn’t kill any turkeys. I don’t think I could like MelT if she did that.

Me in bed

I’m thankful that I have a nice, warm, soft bed to sleep in and MelT pulls the covers over me.

I bet you have things to be thankful for, too. Do you want to share them with me? Leave a comment!
