The Eyes Have It
The above photo is probably the most famous photo of any capybara’s eye, mainly because there are not really any famous photos of capybara eyes. I’d like to change that. Clearly, Caplin Rous had the prettiest eyes ever but all capybaras have lovely, cool, interesting eyes.
Video Review of Wild Venezuela: The Capybara
Video Review Melly is always looking for more information about capybaras, and who can blame her? The real question is, why isn’t there more available? Some things are just too difficult to understand. At any rate, she did find this video, Wild Venezuela: The Capybara on amazon.com and was too excited not to buy it.
Double Trouble
I bet you’re wondering what I mean by naming this post “Double Trouble.” You might think it means that Super Capy and I got into some mischief together. That makes no sense though since Super Capy and I are both Super HEROS not Super VILLAINS!
Super Capy Plush
It is finally here! The prototype for my own plush toy. And it is ever so cute and totally captures my essence. Although not caught mid-roll, I think you can just feel his desire to do so. I normally roll in the water but I bet Super Capy would do rolls through the air!

The Kitten and the Capybara
Something strange and unusual happened yesterday. When Melly came back from feeding the horses their breakfast, she wasn’t alone. She didn’t have a horse or a human friend or a bunny. She had a little kitten. She said he must live in the neighborhood where she sometimes takes me for walks, although I don’t remember […]
Rodent Reader (Quarterly)
Guess what? I’m in a magazine! It’s called the Rodent Reader Quarterly and it’s all about rodents!

ARITHMETIC
Do you remember when I introduced you to my new rat co-pet Bakersfield last month? Well, here he is again! We are learning to get along, which seems much easier for Bake than it is for me. Bake is like the bravest rodent that ever lived and I guess I might be the most fearful. […]
