 Me with my friends Rawil & Golnur from Tatarstan Mudskipper’s post: You might not know this, but I have friends from all over the world! Well, not exactly. I have friends from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. This makes me happy! But I don’t have any friends from Antarctica, this makes me sad. Melanie’s post:  Capybara family in Venezuela Mudskipper has had a strange relationship with water, especially considering that she is a semi-aquatic rodent with a semi-aquatic name. In fact, capybaras should love water from the day they are born. From the photo above, you can see that, in the wild, even tiny newborn capybaras go swimming in caiman infested waters. Not to mention anacondas. So how about Mudskipper?  Let’s talk
A Skipper Post: Let’s talk about me, my favorite topic, and especially relevant today because today is my birthday! Yup, I am the big OH THREE. That’s 3 to you but I like to add another digit to make it seem more important. I was going to call it The Big Oh Oh Three, but MelT said that was going too far.  I’m shy A Skipper Post: Do you see me in that photo above? No? Well, I am hiding underneath that blanket. MelT says I still look cute, even when she can’t see me. I guess that’s true because the people from Inside Edition thought I was cute, too. That’s right! I am now a bonafide TV star! This post is going to give you an inside look at filming for Inside Edition.  Interesting reading! A Skipper’s Post: Dearest Dobby, I hope you know how much I love you. You are my idol in so very many ways. Your wisdom has been a guiding light in my life, along, of course, with the many posts from my predecessors, Caplin and Garibaldi. And of course, you are the best looking male capybara in the world! As you know from my previous post, I have recently read your autobiography, which was truly gripping! But on reflection, I have some questions about it. There are some things that bother me. |
