A Walk in the Mud

Let's go for a walk

It did a strange thing at my house this week…it RAINED! Rain is when water falls out of the sky. I think it might have to be cloudy and noisy too with flashes of bright light. But the main thing is the water. It falls everywhere, even on a capybara if he is sitting outside. But not on a Melly. A Melly says she will not go for a walk while it is raining.

My Day as Capybassador

I deal with the chickens

It started out a day like any other day, and that explains why I can use the above photo in this post. It wasn’t taken today but it might as well have been. I am always having to deal with those chickens. I know they were my birthday present and so, technically, they belong to me, but I have to say that they do not know that. The Collar Purple

I am fashion forward

For too long I have been stifled by Melly’s need to control my movements when we are out and about. Have you seen what she has done to me? Two harnesses! TWO!!!! And they didn’t even match! Travelbara

Half-harnessed

Melly and Rick are always saying I have to get more used to going places. Then, when I get more used to it, they want me to get even more used to it! It is a trap! No matter how calm and collected I get, no matter how much better I get at putting on my harness, they are always going to want more! In the photo above, you can see how gentlemanly I am being about getting my harness on. There is no blood anywhere, and it would totally show up on that snow white bed! But, of course, that is only my under-harness.

Backyard Adventure

Start of an adventure

Let’s get something straight right out the outset: this post is about an adventure but I do not like adventures. One thing I don’t like about them is that they always start with me having to wear my harnesses and my leash. Is a torture session an adventure? Not unless you are really warped. So the title of this post is Melly’s idea. I would have titled it, “Poor capybara tormented by owner,” or something like that.
